Fontana Artshow

I finally had my first solo art show at Fontana’s Community arts Center, aka The Art Depo which is in Fontana California. For those of you who don’t know Fontana is a small city about 45 minutes east of downtown Los Angeles. The show ran from February 17, to March 16, of this year.

The majority of work displayed in this show was created from 2018 to 2020 with the exception of a few pieces. My original plan for this body work was to have a show in 2020 but with Covid and all the quarantine /lockdowns everything was postponed. With that I just committed myself to developing as much work as possible for the next few years. I have new work on the way as I’m still in the process of developing these style of paintings.

It was really important for me to be able to do a show with this gallery since I was born and raised in Fontana and had most of my experiences there that inspired me to do a lot of my artwork . I’ve Also participated in various city, art events doing live art, as well as displaying my art over the years. So I’m happy I was able to have an official solo show. It’s always been a great thing to me to be able to bring my family or friends out together in one place even if it’s just for an hour or for a day, especially when I’m displaying my art in my city. Thanks to anyone that came out and supported and thanks to my family and friends as well as the staff at the Art Depo and the city of Fontana.
